Our goal as a club is to share knowledge and teach others about the history of the mines and mineralogy of Orange County New York within the context of the planet Earth and universe. Our Goal is to promote interest and education in geology, mineralogy, paleontology, archaeology and lapidary. We are a mineral club whose main focus is on Orange County, New York and the surrounding areas. We want to share our knowledge and teach people about the history of the mines and mineralogy of Orange County. We also collect minerals and fossils in other various places throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
