Hook A Hero Inc
Non-profit ran by first responders and affiliated civilians, for first reposnders & their families. Hook-A-Hero is a 100% non-profit 501(c)(3) ran solely by volunteer first responders and civilians. Hook’s purpose is to provide a variety of mental health services, financial support and a peer support network to these American Heroes, and their families, who SERVE and PROTECT. In addition to providing opportunities for traditional mental health support services, Hook facilitates various outdoor activities to promote engaging opportunities for these Heros. Dealing with the demands and stress of a first responder profession can often feel like an isolating task and too often our Heros feel they must face the challenge alone. With Hook’s assistance, these Heros can find a sense of belonging in the journey toward RECOVERY and the REDISCOVERY of the purpose and passion in their lives.
