THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY AND TO KEEP ITS GRADUATES AND ASSOCIATES INFORMED OF ALUMNI AND UNIVERSITY ACTIVITIES INCLUDING SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE, PROVIDING ALUMNI PUBLICATIONS, ASSISTING THE UNIVERSITY TO MAINTAIN A CURRENT RECORD OF GRADUATES, SPONSORING EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP, AND ENCOURAGING AND DEVELOPING INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP INTEREST IN THE UNIVERSITY.
