WNC MRR Home About the Club The Western North Carolina Model Railroaders is a 100 National Model Railroad Association NMRA club located in Asheville NC. Our goals are to promote model railroading within western North Carolina. We sponsor and support model train shows conventions clinics contests field trips and any other train related activities within a reasonable distance from Asheville. Program at our meetings are designed to provide information about railroading and model railroading to help improve skills in various area of model railroading and to offer opportunities for members to participate in model railroading activities and events at local regional and national levels.
