SVAFF through the years ⏪ As the submission cut-off for our 16th annual festival approaches, we give thanks to the Most High for carrying us through every obstacle you can think of! Somewhere down the line, creating opportunities for African filmmakers to screen their work became a form of ministry. The community that has sprung forth from one man's "yes" has led to lives and career trajectories forever being changed. On our meeting grounds, ideas have gone from resting in pitch decks to gaining investments, movies in development have gained addiitonal team members, and most importantly our brothers and sisters have received an abnormal amount of courage to go out and share their light with the world.
