The results are in from the recent Homeless Veteran Surge, an outreach effort aimed at connecting Veterans in need with critical housing services. 🏠 Our Menlo Park team proudly joined this impactful initiative, led by the Palo Alto VA, under the Housing First model — prioritizing safe shelter as the crucial first step in supporting unhoused Veterans. We are honored to share the outcomes: • 3 Veterans moved into transitional housing • 7 Veterans moved into emergency shelter • 7 Veterans received emergency hotel assistance • 16 Veterans were admitted to HUD-VASH, beginning the journey toward permanent housing While shelter provides safety and meets immediate needs, a home brings healing and stability.
