BosNOMA BosNOMA BosNOMA is the Boston Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects NOMA founded by 12 African American architects in 1971 after recognizing the need for an organization dedicated to developing and advancing minority architects. Through our professional and education programming we focus on architects designers and those who share a vital role in the growth of professionalism community engagement and built environment development. BosNOMA is committed to supporting emerging talent strengthening our impact and enabling our reach to diverse communities and advocating for policy changes that benefit minority design professionals. We hold a critical responsibility in Bostons larger building and design community in helping to foster the advancement of equitable practice and minority leadership through achieving diversity and socioeconomic awareness establishing strategic partnerships and investing in the next generation through education and mentorship.
