Provide education training and support for foster kinship guardianship and adoptive parents and support staff enabling them to understand and meet the physical psychological and emotional needs of children in their care. Promote communication between foster parents parents of children in foster care and agency personnel so each may better understand the others role in the placement of foster children and the associated issues. Promote public relations so the general public better understands the foster and adoptive parenting and by doing so improve the image of foster care in the community as well as the image of the adoptive child and encourage adoption within the community.
