The mission of the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society is to foster interest in and appreciation of the classic guitar; to increase awareness of existing classic guitar repertoire and to encourage creation of new classic guitar repertoire; to present distinguished concert artists and composers; and to encourage and support the training, development, and professional education of aspiring professional classic guitarists. Our goals are to develop audiences for the classic guitar throughout North Texas; to promote and foster an appreciation and understanding of the music of classic guitar; to address the need for equal access; and to offer the opportunity for all to experience the musical arts while providing appropriate educational opportunities for individuals of all ages and ethnicities.

Please join us this Friday, May 30th from 5pm to 7pm for the Allegro Guitar Society’s Cafe Concerts at the Kimbell Art Museum. Kevin Manderville will be our featured performer once again this week. Kevin is a regular performer on the series and is currently on the faculty of Texas Wesleyan University, Tarrant County College/Northwest, and is the Artist in Residence at The Guitar Studio Grapevine.
