Veterans Parachute Battalion VETERANS PARACHUTE BATTALION WHO WE ARE We are a group of veterans with a goal to honor and preserve the history of the paratroopers and glider men of Americas airborne forces by memorializing the sacrifices they have made. We support veteran paratroopers and their families in need conduct public educational activities to ensure the continued legacy of Americas paratroopers and participate in various airborne commemorative ceremonies. In June 2024 we will be honoring the paratroopers of the Greatest Generation by conducting multiple memorial parachute operations in Normandy France to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of DDay. The unit is raising funds to finance portions of future events to include training aircraft and equipment necessary for operations.
