Last week, Wendy contacted us about a rejected orphan baby lamb given to her by her neighbors. The lamb was near death, flaccid, wheezing, and gurgling when she got her. She provided vitamin E, selenium, colostrum, antibiotics, and physical therapy. Thanks to Wendy's care, the baby recovered and is now walking and running, but requires a specialized diet and monitoring as she had had a stroke and is still wobbly. Since she travels frequently and is downsizing her animals, Wendy could not keep a special needs lamb but needed to find a safe, permanent place for her little protégée. Today's superhero is Jadalynn! 🦸‍♀️⭐️✨ Jadalynn is a Kuna high school graduate with a heart of gold. She recently asked about our most urgent needs at the sanctuary and used her Girl Scout earnings to buy supplies, including grain, pellets, grit, colostrum, and diatomaceous earth for the animals.
