The mission of the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District is to ensure recharge of the Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin in an environmentally and economically responsible way, using local native surface water to the maximum extent practicable. The mission of the San Bernardino Valley Conservation Trust is to support the protection and stewardship of lands and endowments protecting the natural resources, endangered species habitats, open-space and outdoor recreational areas in the San Bernardino Valley through the Wash Plan and other future programs and supporting other complementary efforts within the charitable purposes of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
