Community Volunteer Connection
The Community Volunteer Connection Is a Public Benefit WA State Non-Profit Charity Organization with 501 (c) (3) status. We recruit and coordinate local volunteers on projects to assist community members in underserved Okanogan County in WA State experiencing distress in their lives. We provide volunteer assistance in projects for vetted distressed and underprivileged individuals experiencing personal crisis while nurturing their need for independence. We also recruit and coordinate local and regional volunteers for assistance in resistance, response, relief and recovery projects from local disasters. The citizens of Okanogan County have experienced 14 devastating wildfires and 3 significant flood events in the last 8 years. Recovery projects are ongoing for the 2020 and 2021 wildfire disasters.
