@eurekaensemble nurtures social change through music. Eureka Ensemble nurtures social impact through music. Our mission—presenting concerts featuring classical music performed by professional musicians, social service, and outreach programming—increases interest in classical music by providing opportunities to socioeconomically underserved communities to engage with art. Cambridge-based, Eureka Ensemble serves Greater Boston, especially its Spanish-speaking communities such as East Boston and Chelsea which have some of Massachusetts’ largest Latino populations, by creating awareness and nurturing social impact through music and synergy. All of our program participants are from low-to-moderate-income families. We identify an issue facing our community, partner with like-minded civic and social organizations, and collaborate to address that issue musically in chamber groups and as an orchestra.

Eureka Ensemble PERFORMANCE WITH PURPOSE Upcoming Performances Eureka Ensemble works with communities in the greater Boston area to address social issues through music. We use music to inspire and empower people to express their stories and come together with empathy and joy to serve the common good. We build on the innate human capacity to enjoy rhythm and sound often tailoring our programs to each communitys traditional musical forms and cultural stories. On the practical level we support social causes by creating partnerships with social service organizations building awareness about a specific problem or community need raising funds and harnessing the skills of other leaders and experts to finetune our programs.
