UNITED STATES CORPS OF CHAPLAINS
The United States Corps Of Chaplains is a volunteer, non-sectarian Christian, charitable, non-profit 501(c) 3 public service organization ministering to all, with special emphasis on assistance to active duty military members, veterans, and their family members. The USCOC is also active in disaster response activities, providing a needed ministerial presence for victims and responders. See our national web site which is located at www.theuscoc.com for more information. We are also dedicated to defending the Constitution of the United States of America; to upholding and defending the Bill of Rights, seen as unalienable, given by God to free men that they might remain free; to ensure that all citizens, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, physical characteristics, or national origin, shall have the right and opportunity to practice their religion as established and guaranteed by that document which guides this great nation. The volunteer units of the USCOC work without compensation. Members of the Corps of Chaplains may also be called upon to help families of deceased veterans with investigating and securing the benefits accorded the veteran and his or her family. Although neither the Corps nor its members are representatives of the Veterans Administration (VA) or any other entity charged with providing benefits to veterans, with many members being veterans themselves, they are a valuable source of support, information, and assistance to families in times of sorrow and need.
