SCPYHA is a volunteer organization committed to delivering the fundamentals of hockey and ice skating in a safe and fun way for all ages! HETLAND YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (HYH) IS A VOLUNTEER-BASED YOUTH HOCKEY ORGANIZATION BASED IN NEW BEDFORD, MASSACHUSETTS. HYH WAS FORMED IN 1984 TO PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ORGANIZED GAME OF ICE HOCKEY. HYH TEACHES AND PROMOTES ICE HOCKEY BY EMPHASIZING TEAMWORK, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, AND THE COMPETITIVE SPIRIT. COACHES AND PARENTS OF MEMBERS VOLUNTEER TIME TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTION SO THAT THE CHILDREN LEARN THE SPORT OF HOCKEY APPROPRIATELY FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT AND SAFETY.
