It’s been a month since our new Interns arrived the Biosphere Center and our days are always filled with laughter. In this past month the inters engaged in ecosystem regenerative learning such as caring for: 1.⁠ ⁠Our forest project and how to remove invasive species, 2.⁠ Wastewater Gardens and how to maintain them, 3.⁠ ⁠Record and manage water and electricity consumption, 4.⁠ Soil restoration through compost and making organic pesticide, 5. learning about coral and how to snorkel 6. The rains have been plentiful this year and our gardens are bursting with produce including eggplants, bananas, Java Peppers, moringa, cucumber, basil, sorghum, tomatoes, rosella and more! Biosphere Center does not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides, we regenerate our soils with compost and make our own organic pesticides. The foods are full of sunshine and nutrients, and it is delicious.
