History

Women of Intent was founded by Vernice Mechel Mitchell, who initially began hosting SOW (Spreading Our Wisdom) Sessions in her home in 2008. These sessions, which started as informal gatherings, evolved into a platform for women to share life lessons and connect with each other. In 2018, Mitchell expanded this initiative into the community, marking the official establishment of Women of Intent as a nonprofit organization.

Mission and Activities

The mission of Women of Intent is encapsulated in its motto "No Woman Left Behind." It aims to build trusting relationships with women by providing safe spaces for growth and healing. The organization offers various programs, including group coaching, individualized coaching packages, and retreats. These services are designed to help women achieve their goals and overcome challenges.

Leadership

Vernice Mechel Mitchell, a Registered Nurse and Certified Life Coach, leads Women of Intent. She guides the organization with a focus on faith and compassion, helping women to remove limiting labels and empower themselves.

Community Engagement

Women of Intent engages with the community through regular online sessions and events. It also maintains a strong network of like-minded women on social media platforms to keep participants connected between events.
