Mission The mission of BGCA is to provide assistance and support to the LGBTQ and allied communities in California including but not limited to the following areas of focus HIVAIDS suicide prevention health promotion youth engagement and support and transgender and other underrepresented populations within the LGBTQ and allied communities. Events Our premiere annual fundraising event is Festival of Trees San Diego on the last Sunday before Thanksgiving. We also sponsor other events throughout the year building up to the holidays including Christmas in July and Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Bar Crawl in Hillcrest.
