Cardinal Soccer Club
The Cardinal Soccer Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing youth with opportunities to learn and play soccer in the Mentor, Ohio area. Founded in 2019, the club has grown significantly, boasting nearly 350 recreational players and over 200 travel players as of recent years.
Mission and Goals
The club focuses on developing children as soccer players and individuals by promoting positive coaching, good sportsmanship, teamwork, hard work, and perseverance. It aims to enhance each child's fitness and self-confidence while fostering a lifelong love for the game of soccer. Cardinal Soccer Club is governed by a board of seven trustees and five officers who oversee its operations. The club relies heavily on volunteer support, particularly during outdoor Spring and Fall seasons, as well as the Winter indoor season.
