Teller Pantry Friends (formerly Teller Backpack Friends) – Hunger is an issue no child should ever face Teller Pantry Friends formerly Teller Backpack Friends Hunger is an issue no child should ever face Teachers at Teller Elementary realized that they had hungry students in their classrooms and started a Backpack for Families program which allowed them to feed 40 people each week. Starting in the 20232024 school year this program transitioned to Teller Pantry Friends where a pantry is available to all current Teller students their families as well as staff multiple days per week see our hours. The mission of Teller Pantry Friends is to ensure all current Teller families have access to living essentials. To achieve this we ensure the pantry is stocked with a variety of nutritious food both fresh and nonperishable as well as personal hygiene and home care items.
