Responsibly steward the lands we own to protect ecological systems and enhance adaptive capacity; • Engage and inspire people to care for land resources. Be welcoming and inclusive in our work and broaden the relevance of land conservation; • Collaborate with partners across the Upper Valley to pursue a broad, integrated vision of regional health in which conserved land supports and reinforces regional environmental, social and economic goals.

We provide conservation leadership tools and expertise to permanently protect the working farms forested ridges wildlife habitat water resources trails and scenic landscapes that makes the Upper Valley a special place to live. We work with local conservation commissions and volunteer groups to identify and prioritize land conservation opportunities.

Happy #FieldNotesFriday . 🌱 This week Cassie Bernyk, Stewardship Programs Coordinator, was out at our Brookmead Food Pantry Garden in #NorwichVT harvesting some rhubarb plants after working with volunteers in the garden. We've been able to harvest over 25 pounds of #rhubarb so far this season and donate to our partners over at Willing Hands .
