COUNSELORS ARE NOT IMMUNE TO A GLOBAL CRISIS. IN FACT, DESPITE OUR TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE, WERE NOT IMPERVIOUS TO NORMAL STRESS AND ANXIETY IN OUR OWN LIVES OR VICARIOUS TRAUMA FROM IMMERSING OURSELVES IN THE INNER WORLDS OF OUR CLIENTS. WHILE THE HEIGHTENED STATE OF ANXIETY AROUND THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC MAY HAVE EXPOSED THIS CRITICAL NEED, THE DEMAND FOR QUALITY, AFFORDABLE MENTAL HEALTHCARE FOR COUNSELORS IS ONGOING.
