ARF is a Federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit, 100% volunteer, no kill animal rescue in Beacon, NY. ARF is a Federal 501 (c) (3) non profit, 100% volunteer, NO KILL animal shelter and organization. The individuals who volunteer here do so because of their love for animals and their desire to improve the lives of these animals. We house and care for cats and dogs in need of a second chance or who need more time to find just the right home. The care that we provide to these animals includes medical attention as needed (including spay/neuter), nourishment, basic positive re-enforcement training, exercise, and a safe place to call home for as long as is needed. Every step is taken to assure that animals go to good and appropriate adoptive homes. In some instances, certain animals who are not adopted will be cared for with love as they remain at ARF and call this their forever home.
