Hands On Memphis, founded in 1993, is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing our member volunteers with diverse, flexible service opportunities that address the needs of the community. Hands On Memphis is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Memphis by engaging busy people in community service. Hands On Memphis creates, manages, and leads effective and innovative service programs, which respond to critical human service, educational, and environmental needs of the Memphis community, making it a better place to live. With its unique model, which takes into account volunteer interests and availability, HOM has attracted 1,600+ volunteers who currently participate in 20-30 hands-on group volunteer projects each month.
