✨ Opera Modesto is proud to spotlight two SOI participants who recently gave standout starring performances in high school productions in Oakdale and Merced! Gabriela Hicks recently starred as Eurydice in Hadestown Teen Edition at Golden Valley High School in Merced under the direction of Amber Kirby. Her performance was excellent, poised and expressive! Gabriella also attended Opera Modesto’s recent production of Falstaff with her family. Isabella Camorlinga gave a wonderful performance as Regina George in Mean Girls High School Version at Oakdale High School under the direction of Colleen Hawks-Pierce, and also performed as part of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Chorus in Verdi’s Requiem. A committed young artist in many genres, Isabella also attended Falstaff several times!
