Pets For Seniors The Dona Ana County Humane Society offers discounts for senior citizens who wish to adopt a pet from the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley ASCMV. Ruff To Ready In an effort to prevent dogs from being returned to the shelter the Doa Ana County Humane Society established the Ruff to Ready program which offers basic behavior training to shelter dogs that are in foster care or in fostertoadopt homes through the ASCMV and APA.
