Some highlights of Tracy’s “Healing Hands” nominations include: “(A patient’s daughter) made a point to call me and make me aware of how thankful she was and how caring and compassionate Traci is. She said Tracy was kind and caring and explained (her mother’s) condition to her. She also took time out of her busy schedule to answer all of her questions. How Traci handled the situation is a defining moment in patient care and care of the families.” “Tracy went above and beyond during my son’s recent admission on the ACE unit. She worked very hard when he first arrived to the unit to help reduce the pain he was experiencing. She continually stopped back in the room to update us on the progress she had made to ensure he was comfortable and update us on the conversations with the physician team. She was kind and patient with us and helped eliminate any concerns.” “The patient said that Tracy was really, really awesome! She took the time to help him feel more comfortable with his care. Being a patient can come with much anxiety and many questions. Tracy took the time to speak to the patient, explain medications, and the importance of them, so the patient could get back home.
