Trungpa Rinpoche, a lineage holder both in the Kagyu Buddhist tradition and in the Shambhala lineage, was renowned for his ability to present Buddhism in a form readily understandable to Western students. Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, Trungpa's son and dharma heir, is the current lineage holder of the Shambhala Buddhist tradition. Our core program area is meditation which allows us to calm our minds and be who we are. It allows us to be fully alive in the present moment.
