MSVFD Neighbors Serving Neighbors Since 1879 Manitou Springs firefighters visited every property parcel in the city and surveyed the wildfire risk rating from low to extreme for each property. Its time to work with our neighbors to make Manitou Springs a fireadapted community. Using this data the fire department created a map that provides a risk rating by color for each parcel. The map visually identifies not only singleparcel risk but also the overall risk to neighborhoods and the community.

The Manitou Springs Fire Department will conduct a test of the City’s emergency alert speaker system at approximately noon today, Thursday, July 10, following scheduled maintenance on the system. The test is part of routine system upkeep and does not indicate an emergency. No action is needed by the public.
