Embark Empowering refugee young women through sport. Embark Outdoors is a 501c3 nonprofit designed to empower refugee young women through outdoor education and sports such as climbing hiking swimming and camping. In addition to sports we prioritize and incorporate these elements of success Outdoor Sports Education Therapy Transportation Access to Higher Education Future Employment To learn more about our programming visit our About page Our Team Our program includes young women who have come to the United States from all over the world between the ages of 1624 years old and it is completely free for participants. We meet for outdoor skills programming every other weekend from April October and also on some weeknights for life skills such as financial planning and group therapy.
