Encouraging students to reach the stars Starlight Encouragement Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the underprivileged of the city, providing opportunities for those who need it most. We work in conjunction with our partners and donors to make sure that every project we begin has a specific goal in mind. Since our founding in 2019 our organization has provided meals and donations to a small number of individuals in vulnerable areas. We feel when serving populations, "vulnerable" generally refers to groups of people who are at a disadvantage due to a characteristic they have or a status they inhabit. These characteristics or statuses can include but are not limited to low income, limited access to healthcare, age, disability, homelessness, incarceration, and refugee or immigrant status.
