The Los Gatos Anti-Racism Coalition (LGARC) mobilizes members of our community to fight for concrete and anti-racist change. We envision the graduates from our schools to possess a functional understanding of systemic racism in history, literature, and our daily lives. We envision a larger role for unarmed and specialized social workers in public safety and a smaller role for armed police officers. We envision a world where people from all socioeconomic and racial backgrounds can not only afford to live here, but also feel like they belong here.
