Empower Yolo, Inc.

Providing hope and ending violence through specialized treatment, intervention, and prevention. Empower Yolo's mission is to promote safe, healthy, and resilient communities. Empower Yolo's purpose is to provide: (a) Twenty-four hour crisis intervention, emergency shelter, confidential counseling, training, legal assistance, and other services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and child abuse; (b) Resource centers for community services to improve the health, social, educational and economic outcomes of Yolo County residents; and, (c) Community outreach and educational programs about available resources to promote health, reproductive equity, stability, and self-sufficiency for individuals and families.

What an incredible night at the AXO event in support of Empower Yolo! 💜 Huge thanks to Alpha Chi Omega and all the amazing fraternity contestants who participated in the Mr. AXO philanthropy competition. The domestic violence and sexual assault awareness segment was especially powerful—everyone was fully engaged, and the message truly resonated. It’s inspiring to see such important issues being addressed by young people with so much thought and heart. The talent, dedication, and compassion each contestant brought to the stage were truly impressive. Thank you, AXO, for your hard work, passion, and commitment to making a difference.
