Bryan Hughes — the architect of Texas’ abortion ban — to respond to public outrage. Predictably, it keeps the state’s extreme restrictions firmly in place. Abortion bans are barbaric. Young people deserve access to the information they need to learn, grow, and thrive. H.B. 3225 is yet another attempt to ban books and silence stories that reflect the diversity of our communities.
