Meet Laura Molesky, RN, who is a nurse navigator for surgical oncology patients in Central Pa. Hear from her on why she’s a nurse and what inspired her to become one. “I’m a nurse because I’m driven to help, care for, and support patients and their loved ones every single day. It gives me purpose and brings a deep sense of meaning to my life. Growing up with a childhood illness, I spent a lot of time in and out of doctor's offices. During that difficult time, the compassion, strength, and dedication of the nurses who cared for me and supported my family left a lasting impression. They weren't just health care providers; they were sources of comfort and hope. Watching them inspired me to follow in their footsteps and become a nurse, so I could one day provide that same level of care and support to others going through tough times.” (fb)
