Home Our Vision The Mackinaw City Area Arts Council aspires to procure a facility employ a paid director and develop a selfsustaining funding source to promote the arts in the Straits of Mackinac area. Our Mission The mission of the Mackinaw City Area Arts Council is to promote participation in and appreciation of the arts in the Straits of Mackinac area through year round exhibits education activities and performances. The Arts Council was organized in 2011. We currently have nine board members plus individual family and business members.
