**Hockinson High School Music Booster Club**  
The **Hockinson High School Music Booster Club** is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting music education at Hockinson High School in Brush Prairie, Washington. Established to enhance curricular and extracurricular music programs, the club provides financial and logistical support for student participation in concerts, parades, competitions, and master classes.  

**Activities and impact**  
The organization funds over $40,000 annually for program costs, including instrument repairs, uniforms, and event-related expenses. Its activities encompass organizing fundraising events, volunteer coordination for performances, and facilitating communication between the music program, families, and the broader community. Key initiatives include an annual benefit dinner and auction, which features student performances and raises critical program funds.  

**Governance**  
As a parent-led volunteer organization, the Booster Club operates through monthly meetings and committee work. While Hockinson High School administers the music curriculum, the club supplements district funding to meet operational shortfalls. Its efforts directly support over 100 students annually, representing nearly 17% of the school’s student body.
