The primary mission of BWOH is empowering disadvantaged youth by helping them build the skills necessary to disrupt generational poverty. BWOH delivers a program that facilitates careers in the skilled trade professions by eliminating barriers to entry, disproportionately impacting youth in underserved communities. BWOH provides a pathway to successfully achieving meaningful employment and financial independence by facilitating education/training, financial literacy and life skills training. These educational components together with social responsibility are at the heart of our program, and our strategy is based on the intersection of these core competencies.
