Yonkers Women in Law Enforcement Stronger Together est. 2018 Our Mission 2023 International Womenx27s Day The Yonkers Women in Law Enforcement is dedicated to fostering a strong and inclusive community of women in law enforcement promoting their health and wellness providing comprehensive training opportunities offering unwavering support and empowering them to excel in their careers and assume leadership roles in the Yonkers Police Department. Recognizing that women make up only about 17 of the sworn officers of the YPD and face unique job related challenges and experiences weve created a womens organization that will be mutually beneficial for the department as a whole as well as our members.
