Recognizing that women make up only about 17 of the sworn officers of the YPD and face unique job related challenges and experiences weve created a womens organization that will be mutually beneficial for the department as a whole as well as our members. Our Goals Core Pillars Community Engagement Community Engagement Through our mission the YWLE seeks to create an effective law enforcement community.
