We have an exciting update about our pal Monday - he's becoming a first responder himself! Monday visited Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue last week to gain some adoption attention, and shortly after, we received a call from the Department of Corrections! Monday is now off to his new adventure in Ellensburg, training to be the bestest DOC pup! We are so proud of you, Monday! (fb)

Our sweet pups have been enjoying their shelter breaks, care to join!? Barks and Rec is a day trip program for KHS shelter dogs to get a break from their kennel for a day, get out and experience new things, and making new human friends along the way! Not only is this program beneficial for enriching the lives of dogs, it also gives the shelter more information on how our pups do out and about so we can help better support them throughout their adoption journey.
