Great fun was had this weekend as JPF embarked on our 8th Pub Crawl fundraiser. Thanks to all who participated, we raised more than $2000! As many of you know, we use these funds for a variety of projects and events, including booking musical acts for the Community Stage at Jeff Fest Arts & Music Festival, maintaining the Jeff Park People Space, and partnering with other not-for-profits like the Jefferson Memorial Park Advisory Council and sponsoring the Jefferson Park Sunday Market. We send our gratitude and appreciation to our hosts - Windsor Tavern Bar and Grill, Rex Tavern, Vaughan's Pub Northwest Side, Ma O'Brien's Irish Sports Pub, and The Brig Chicago. These are all great places in our community. JPF would also like to acknowledge all those who donated gift cards. We couldn't raise our funds without you. This year, we got very specific feedback from a few of our Crawlers that we offer the best pub crawl food, and for that we give a very special thanks to our food sponsors – Eris Brewery and Cider House for the great brisket and mac & cheese, The Windsor Tavern for the their popular pizzas, and The Brig Chicago for the large spread!
