Sail Salem is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), educational program for children promoting positive life skills Sail Salem is a Community Sailing and Educational Program dedicated to the citizens of Salem and other North Shore communities to educate and bolster independence, responsibility, self-confidence, teamwork, environmental awareness and an enduring appreciation of our waterways. We actively recruit students who typically would not be exposed to sailing and shoreline activities and will subsidize, as needed, all tuition and costs for those unable to pay. Our goal is to increase the number of full pay and scholarship participants by the addition of new boats, staff and expanded marketing efforts; and, to enhance and expand our STEAM educational program by new activities and materials.

Based in Salem Massachusetts Sail Salem is a community sailing program that conducts summer sailing camps with educational programs for children. We have introduced the sport of sailing to thousands of children from Salem and its surrounding North Shore towns. Sailing lessons are conducted in Salem Harbor right out of Salems Winter Island.
