About the Female Athlete Conference Founded in 2013 by Kate Ackerman MD MPH FACSM the Biennial International Female Athlete Conference was the first academic and medical conference dedicated to the female athlete. Our conference continues to be the preeminent summit building strong networks while highlighting evidence to empower female athletes across the lifespan.
