The mission of the Mobile Child Interviewing Lab (MCIL) is to provide legally-defensible, trauma-informed and victim-centered recorded forensic interviews of child abuse victims free of charge to law enforcement detectives, social workers, and county and city attorneys investigating their cases, to use as evidence to prosecute their offenders. In addition, the MCIL provides advocacy services to the victims and their non-offending family members. We conveniently provide these services at the geographic locations of the requesting agencies to simplify the process, and expedite and strengthen the cases.
