Improving Postpartum Health Wellness 53 of Maternal Deaths Happen postpartum We are working to widen access to postpartum doula support nutritional support and perinatal wellness resources. uprooting systemic oppression BIPOC birthing people are 3 times more likely to die from maternal healthrelated complications. Implicit bias racial injustice and systemic oppression are largely contributing to negative maternal health outcomes in the United States. We work to provide community members with culturally congruent care and examine maternal health through a holistic lens.
