Sonoran Reptiles is a nonprofit organization with a goal to rescue, rehabilitate, and educate people about reptiles and their importance on our planet. Reptiles are an often undervalued cornerstone in every environment, including your very own back yard! These animals play an extremely important role in maintaining homeostasis in most habitats around the world. Without reptiles we would be overrun by vermin in mass, we wouldn’t have certain medicines that save human lives daily. Just like the honey bee, reptiles are a necessity on our planet and we need them as much as they need us.
