Bainbridge Island Amateur Radio Club About The Bainbridge Amateur Radio Club BARC holds the callsign W7NPC in recognition of the role Bainbridge Island played during World War II. There were two major Navy radio installations on Bainbridge Island during World War II a secret receiving station Station S located at Fort Ward and a transmitting station callsign NPC containing four 300 ft. towers and a 800 ft. tower located at the current site of Battle Point park.
