The Venice Historical Society & The Culver City Historical Society Present “DISCOVERING FILM LOCATIONS” A Lecture & Slide Show by Chris Bungo TUESDAY, APRIL 22ND at 7:00 PM Free and open to the public 🎬🍿🎥 The Venice Historical Society & The Culver City Historical Society are co-presenting a lecture and slide program on Tuesday, April 22 at 7pm at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Culver City. This unique program will be presented by Chris Bungo, of Filming Locations Then and Now, who will explore a range of film locations where classic vintage films were shot in Culver City and Venice. The presentation includes film clips from the past and the exact location as it looks today. Clips in the presentation include the films of Laurel and Hardy, Harold Lloyd, Three Stooges, Charlie Chaplin and The Little Rascals Thanks to Bungo’s collection of over 1500 film, video, music & TV locations from around Los Angeles, the evening promises to be enjoyable and informative to film and history buffs as well as the general public.
