Veteran Produce – Feeding Homeless Veterans 1 Tony At A Time

Veterans Produce is a veteran-owned 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to feeding hungry veterans. How we accomplish this goal: 1. Building Local Community Organic Aquaponic/Hydroponic Gardens. 2. Teaching Veterans How To Grow Their Own Food. 3. Teaching Veterans How To Tend The Gardens. 4. Deploying Veterans To Other Communities To Replicate The Mission. Veterans Produce carefully chose the Aquaponics/ Hydroponics Gardening Method because is a highly efficient gardening system. Some of its advantages over traditional dirt gardening are: • Generates up to 8-10 times more food per square foot. • Grows food 30% faster. • Produces food typically 46% more nutritious than store bought food. • Uses about 90% less water. • More accurately predict yields.
